Pre-dating the American edition this is presumably the first 1841 British edition as the boards are correct. Sadly missing it’s title page (the story starts on page ii). Boards faded and marked with some scuffing to the edges. Pages still mostly quite clean and bright with just the occasional mark, pages 4,26,51,52 and 72 have short tears to the edges. Remains of bookseller’s pencil marks on the front endpaper.
